Through our continued partnership with the United Way of St. Charles, we are expanding our ability to serve students and families across our community.

Together, we are working to:

  • Increase access to academic support and college readiness resources
  • Provide structured tutoring opportunities for students
  • Develop leadership pathways for student tutors

St. Charles Tutoring Lab was created to provide a reliable, structured, and affordable solution for families.

We offer:

  • Support in Math, Reading, and Writing
  •  ACT Prep and college readiness coaching
  • Preparation for placement exams such as the Accuplacer
  • One-on-one and small group instruction
  •  Sessions held Monday–Thursday after school, with limited Saturday availability
  • Summer Bridge programs to prepare students for the next school year

We proudly serve students from Kindergarten through High School, with a focus on long-term success.

Peer Tutoring Program: Serving Students and Building Leaders

A cornerstone of our work is the Peer Tutoring Program, which is designed to both support younger students and develop high school leaders within St. Charles Parish.

Through this program:

  • Students at Luling Elementary and St. Rose Elementary receive free tutoring support
  • High school students serve as peer tutors, gaining leadership and academic experience
  • Additional families across the parish may access tutoring services for a small, affordable fee

This model allows us to remove barriers for students who need support most while maintaining a sustainable structure that benefits the entire community.

Access Through Free Webinars

In addition to tutoring services, St. Charles Tutoring Lab offers:

  •  Free ACT and College Readiness Webinars
  • Strategy sessions to help families understand testing and scholarship opportunities
  • Clear guidance on how to begin preparing for college pathways

These sessions provide families with the knowledge they need to take action with confidence.

Expanding Opportunities: CLEP Camp Launching This May

As part of our continued growth, St. Charles Tutoring Lab has recently partnered with Modern States Education Alliance in Georgia to expand access to college credit opportunities.

Beginning in May, we will offer a CLEP Camp designed to help students:

  • Earn college credit while still in high school
  • Reduce the overall cost of college
  • Build confidence through structured, guided preparation

This initiative reflects our commitment to not only helping students succeed in their current classes—but also accelerating their path toward college and career readiness.
