We’re Expanding Access: CLEP Camp Is Opening Doors for Families

There are moments when you realize something bigger is happening—when what started as support for a few families begins to grow into access for many.

This is one of those moments.

Today, we took a step forward in expanding college access by reaching out to local media to share an opportunity that families need to know about: CLEP Camp.

This isn’t just another program.

This is about changing the timeline—and the cost—of college.

What Is CLEP Camp?

CLEP Camp is a guided, virtual experience designed to help students earn college credit before they ever step foot on a college campus.

Through this program, families learn how to:

  • Choose the right CLEP exams
  • Build a preparation plan that actually works
  • Move from “thinking about college” to earning credits now
  • Use free resources like Modern States Education Alliance to prepare and test

This is strategy.

This is access.

This is opportunity—on purpose.

Why This Matters Right Now

Families are feeling the pressure.

College costs continue to rise.

Students are overwhelmed with options.

Parents are asking, “Where do we even begin?”

Here’s the truth:

Many students can earn 3, 6, even 12+ college credits while still in high school.

Some can complete an entire semester—before graduation.

And in many cases, it can be done at little to no cost.

But most families simply don’t know.

That’s the gap we’re closing.

From Awareness to Action

We’ve already seen the impact.

After our recent ACT and College Readiness webinar, families walked away with clarity, direction, and a plan. The response was clear:

Families don’t just need information.

They need guidance.

CLEP Camp is designed to do exactly that—walk families step-by-step from awareness to completion.

What’s New

This week marked a major milestone:

We officially began sharing CLEP Camp with local media

We are building testing partnerships to support student access

We are preparing for a summer launch focused on real results

This is bigger than a program.

This is about creating a college readiness pipeline that starts earlier, moves smarter, and finishes stronger.

Who This Is For

CLEP Camp is ideal for:

  • 8th–12th grade students
  • Dual enrollment students looking to move faster
  • Families seeking affordable college pathways
  • Motivated students ready to get ahead

If your child is capable, curious, and ready—this is for them.

What Happens Next

We’re inviting families to take the first step.

This work is personal.

I’ve used these same strategies with my own children—and watched them walk into college prepared, confident, and positioned for scholarships.

That’s what I want for your family too.

Because college readiness shouldn’t be confusing.

It should be clear, accessible, and intentional.

And most importantly—

It should start now.
