Something Bigger Is Coming: An Invitation to Future Leaders

At the Johnel Bryant Robinson Foundation, we have always believed that young people are capable of far more than many adults realize.

This summer, as students participate in programs through St. Charles Tutoring Lab, CLEP Camp, ACT preparation, and our growing leadership initiatives, we have been exploring a question:

What happens when students are given the opportunity to solve real-world problems instead of simply learning about them?

The answer has inspired us.

We are currently developing a new leadership experience through LLI NFLI (Learn. Love. Inspire. National Future Leaders Institute) and Lilly Nefli, our student leadership and service framework designed to help young people grow as leaders while making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Participants will have opportunities to:

  • Develop leadership and communication skills
  • Learn project planning and teamwork
  • Explore business, healthcare, and community leadership pathways
  • Engage in meaningful service-learning experiences
  • Build portfolios, reflections, and leadership artifacts
  • Connect learning to real-world impact

Most importantly, students will be challenged to identify needs around them and become part of creating solutions.

While we are not yet ready to reveal the specific community impact projects being developed, we can share this:

Our goal is not simply to prepare students for college.

Our goal is to prepare students to lead.

We envision a generation of young people who understand that leadership is more than titles and positions. Leadership is recognizing a need, bringing people together, and creating positive change.

Families who join us will be helping shape the founding years of what we believe can become a powerful movement for student leadership, service, innovation, and impact.
